Tim Janowick, the founder of Integritas Consulting and Research Group, has served as a law enforcement officer two decades. During his career, Mr. Janowick served as an evidence technician, technical accident investigator, youth officer, and trainer in the use of force, defensive tactics, handcuffing, and intermediary weapons including pepper spray, PepperBall, electronic control devices (TASER and Stinger), and batons.
As the Chief of Police with the Mount Prospect Police Department, Mr. Janowick currently oversees the operations of a department of 82 sworn officers and 19 civilian employees with a nearly $18M budget.
Mr. Janowick has served as a use of force expert witness and expert consultant in federal court cases filed in Illinois and Michigan. He is a contributing author to Brian Willis’ anthology, "If I Knew Then... Life Lessons from Cops on the Street."
Formal education includes a BA from Western Illinois University and an MBA with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Benedictine University. Managerial education includes:
- Senior Management Institute for Police, Police Executive Research Forum (PERF);
- School of Police Staff and Command, Northwestern University; and
- Supervision of Police Personnel, Northwestern University.
