Modern Warrior© High Efficiency, Low Profile (H.E.L.P.) Baton End User Course

Modern Warrior Instructor Trainer Bernie Hogancamp leads Integritas' Modern Warrior program.  The High Efficiency, Low Profile expandable baton program puts a new twist on an old police tool.  Using the officer's body to springload the baton, officers will learn to effectively deploy the baton in close quarters.  The method of delivering the baton's engery is significantly more law profile than traditional baton deployment techniques. Modern Warrior© High Efficiency, Low Profile (H.E.L.P.) Baton Instructor Course

Modern Warrior Instructor Trainer Bernie Hogancamp leads officers desiring to be instructors in the H.E.L.P. expandable baton program.  The course covers the requisite objectives of the basic end user course and includes additional material geared towards effective instruction.  Instructor courses are a minimum of eight (8) hours and may extend to sixteen (16) hours depending on the content of the course. Additional information about Modern Warrior can be found at www.modernwarrior.com.


Modern Warrior© Police Defensive Tactics End User Course

Modern Warrior Instructor Trainer Bernie Hogancamp leads Integritas' Modern Warrior Police Defensive Tactics course. Officers learn about physio-kinetics, strikes, blocks, and defending against multiple assailants. The dynamic program maximizes an officer's movement and energy to quickly and effectively end resistance to arrest or attacks on an officer. Modern Warrior© Police Defensive Tactics Instructor Course

Modern Warrior Instructor Trainer Bernie Hogancamp leads the instructor program for the Police Defensive Tactics Course. Officers desiring to become instructors in this program will participate in class from eight (8) to twenty-four (24) hours depending on the type and number of tactics covered. Expandable Baton End Use Course

Integritas presents a four (4) hour end users course on "traditional" basic expandable baton techniques including drawing, blocking, and striking with an expandable baton. The expandable baton course teaches users to manage the energy of the baton in an effective manner.  The course includes covering basic concepts in the use of force and governing federal case law. 


Expandable Baton Instructor Course

Integritas's eight (8) hour instructor development course for the "traditional" expandable baton covers all of the material in the end user course and includes additional material for instructor development including federal cases regarding the use of force, presentation skills, and evaluation techniques. All participants are required to pass a written examination and practical assessment.


Handcuffing Basics End User Course

Over the course of four (4) hours, officers will learn control techniques and the application of handcuffs from a variety of positions including standing, kneeling, and prone. Ptractical application during the class enables officers to learn how to maximize biodynamics during the handcuffing process. Discussion will include selecting handcuffs appropriate for officer, officer safety considerations, and current prevailing case law regarding handcuffing. The course may be lengthened to eight (8) hours to include additional restraint and control techniques.


Handcuffing Basics Instructor Course

Over the course of eight (8) hours, officers desiring to be instructors for their agencies in the application of handcuffs will encounter the techniques taught in the basic end user course.  A sixteen (16) hour instructor course adds additional restraint and control techniques including the application of the Hobble, tactics, and control points. All participants are required to pass a written examination and practical assessment.


Pepper Spray End User Course

The deployment of pepper spray can be an effective means to provide an officer the advantage when attempting to arrest a resistant person or control a subject who presents a danger to themselves or others. During the course of four (4) hours, officers will learn about the effects of pepper sprays, methods for recovering from exposure to pepper sprays, prevailing federal case law regarding the use of force and the deployment of pepper spray, and tactical considerations in deployment. The course will include practical exercises using inert training canisters in addition to a voluntary exposure to pepper spray. 


Pepper Spray Instructor Course

The prepation for teaching a course on pepper spray deployment to your agency begins here with this eight (8) hour instructor development course.  The course includes the material covered in the basic end user course, but also incorporates additional instructor development components including safety considerations, presentation skill development, and further instruction on pepper spray considerations as a tool in countering resistance. Participants will be required to successfully complete a written examination and a practical assessment.
